I decided to join this blog since some of my photographer friends did too. It's a good idea. You can check it out everyday!

A Birthday

So I complained last year that Mary didn't get to go to any birthday parties because she was always sick. But now this year, we've gone to four already! She has a great time though and she gets to get all dressed up. These are 2 parties wen went to this month.

Pics of our House

I'll put up pics of the kids room too soon. It's always a little messy. Such is having a small house with little kids. We're having problems with the heating and electricity. But it's slowly getting fixed. At least the house is cute.

The Holidays

Here's a pic of our christmas tree for the holidays. We had a good time and we had some family pics done. We went up north to visit our relatives in the central valley. I got a new vacuum! Cool! and the kids got a lot of clothes and toys. It was a pretty good holiday. Except for my mom getting the flu on Christmas Day. Which was a bummer but luckily we had a christmas with her on christmas eve.

I don't know why she won't smile.

Then we came back home and celebrated New Years at Legoland. Uncle Derrick was with us and we had a pretty good time. The kids were a little scared of the fireworks. But they did OK.

Fun at the park

I'm posting this from my iPhone so we'll see of this works. We went to CPK this morning and had a tour of the kitchen and all the kids got to male a pizza. Then we went to the park and played. I'll post pics at CPK later.

Starting the move

I decided after having Ronin that we could no longer live in a 2 bed apartment. So I made the effort to find us a house to rent. I basically looked on craig's list for a few weeks and I must have looked at like 20 house. (Although I didn't really keep track. Boy you should have seen some of these houses. They don't post pictures in the ads because they're hitius. When you go and see these houses they're like gross and tiny and not finished and no yards, just dirt and rocks. Anyhoos, I found a few good ones but then there's a lot of competition. There's like 10 people who want to rent this house and there's a housing shortage in San Diego county. So it's like applying for a job!

The first couple of houses we didn't get. We lost out to a better couple with better credit. But this house we moved into, another post, we got, obviously. Here are some pics of before we moved in. We just now got unpacked so I haven't taken any recent pictures but I will soon and post them.

It's a 3 bed, 2 bath little house. They remodeled it a little bit so the fixtures are nice. But the electrical could use a once over. But it has a great yard and a jetted master tub. So we like it.

Recovering

It took a long time to recover from the C-section. In some ways I'm still recovering. I've heard from other women who've had c-sections that it'll take about a year for it to stop hurting. Which is lamo cause my child like to kick me in the stomach and that can hurt a lot. Also anytime anyone touches it it hurts. Which also sucks. But I haven't started working out yet. So maybe when I work out and strengthen my stomach muscles then I'll feel better. It took a few weeks too to be able to walk around for a while and it took a while to be able to stand and just have stamina. Luckily I had a lot of help and now I can handle both kiddos alone.

Here's me and RoRo coming out of the hospital and on our way home.

Here's Ronin's first bath. He actually really didn't cry and seemed to enjoy it. Maybe it reminded him of the womb, all the cozy warm water.

Ah after bath. He slept a lot in the beginning and now basically sleeps through the night. Mary still doesn't though.
